# Impulse Scanner

> Impulse Scanner (импульсный сканер) is an Android app that scans USDT perpetual futures on Binance, Bybit, OKX and
> BingX for unusual price moves and volume bursts and shows what kind of move it is: its strength, phase and the
> market around it. It is an information tool: it never recommends any action, and the decision always stays with
> the trader. Russian name: «Impulse Scanner — импульсный сканер криптовалютных фьючерсов».

Key facts:
- Platforms: Android 7.0+ phones and tablets, Android TV. Distributed as an APK from https://impulsescanner.ru.
- Data: public market data only (prices, candles, volumes, funding, open interest). No exchange API keys, no account access.
- Privacy: no registration, no ads, no analytics. Details: https://impulsescanner.ru/privacy.html
- Free tier (complete, not limited): impulse detector on closed 15-minute candles with confirmation and lifecycle,
four exchanges, cross-exchange spreads, heatmap, signal overlay and price ticker over other apps, home-screen
widgets, Quick Settings tile, Android TV interface, price-level alerts, signal history.
- Pro tier (7-day free trial, then time-limited licence keys): pre-impulse radar (Onset Profile), large-move radar with
historical frequencies, coin passport (move potential, current phase, market context, no combined score),
self-check of every method against same-moment control coins on live data and a shared server journal, custom
alert rules, daily digest, CSV export, Pro on TV via QR pairing.

Research behind Pro (300 days of 15-minute data, 133 perpetuals):
- Pre-impulse radar: a large move (15% away from BTC within 72 h) followed in 37.4% of 3,587 hits vs 20.9% for
same-moment controls; it separates coins in calm or greedy markets and not in fear or a falling market, and the app
  says so.
- Shape of the last hour matters for rises (ragged strong rises gave back more to the market than smooth ones) and
  not for falls.
- No indicator in the app predicts price direction, and the app does not claim to.
